Sleep-deprived Americans underestimate health consequences of shut-eye shortcomings, study says

American adult doesn't get enough sleep.

A recent study finds that while we're aware of our shut-eye shortcomings, we're in denial about the need to change our habits.

In light of a March announcement from the Centers for Disease Control that declared insufficient sleep to be a public health epidemic, the nonprofit Better Sleep conducted a survey of their own.
