The Sleep to Live Institute’s Sleep and Wellness Board is comprised of experts in sleep science and technology and are considered thought leaders in the sleep industry. These respected board members provide research, medical expertise and counsel to the institute. Much of todays sleep health findings and sleep disorder treatments result from their collective work.
Dr. Robert Oexman is the current Director of the Sleep to Live Institute. In his current role, he oversees the Institute’s research studies and coordinates all the activities of the Sleep To Live scientists, fellows and affiliated sleep centers. Dr. Oexman’s contributions and knowledge on creating a quality sleep environment has led him to being recognized as one of the foremost industry leading sleep experts. Dr. Oexman has been instrumental in the development of bedMatch, a patented diagnostic system that uses 18 statistical measurements and over 1,000 calculations to build a personal profile of your unique sleep preferences, patterns and needs. In addition to his position at the Sleep To Live Institute, Dr. Oexman serves as chair of the Institute’s Sleep and Wellness Board.
Dr. Oexman received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri and his Masters in Business Administration from Missouri State University. He is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and received his post-graduate training in sleep at the Sleep Medicine Center in Stanford, California. Dr. Oexman has worked on research projects at major Universi- ties across the United States. He lectures on the topic of sleep and how the environment impacts sleep to physicians, manufacturers, retailers and the general public in the United States and internationally. Dr. Oexman has also taught Strategic Business Development for graduate students at Missouri State University.
Scott Cecil is the Assistant VP of IT of Kingsdown, Inc. Over his 20 years with Kingsdown, Scott has been instrumental in the development and deployment of diagnostic technical support, as well as, the growth of Kingsdown, Inc. across international markets. Scott also sits on the Kingsdown Employee Stock Ownership Plan Board of Trustees.
Scott graduated from Elon University with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, concentrating in Management and Marketing. He also has a strong background in computer science.
